Using the Grading + Dependency System
The opportunity grades, ROI model, and dependency map are your prioritization engine. Learn to read them like a partner does.

What each grade means + how partners read them

Feasibility (1–10) — can we actually do this with today's team? Partners want this ≥ 7.

Business Impact (1–10) — EBITDA impact × strategic value. Partners want this ≥ 8 for anything strategic.

Urgency (1–10) — time-sensitivity (market windows, churn risk, compliance deadlines). Usually used to break ties.

Strategic Alignment (1–10) — thesis fit. A 10 here trumps other weaknesses.

Risk Level (1–10 where low is good) — inverted. Partners mentally subtract this from the others.

The scoring cheat code
Real operators score conservatively on the way in — then let the work earn a regrade. Inflated initial scores destroy partner trust when the reality hits.
